FAQ

Are the books meant for beginners?

Both The Character Designer and the Illustrator’s Guidebook are great books to start with. The chapters are easy to follow and contain useful tips for both beginners (no previous art experience needed) and experienced artists. Learn from 100 Famous Artists is more of a reference art book that serves to inspire and is a great complement to the other books.

Even though we have many contributing artists with their own styles, The Character Designer and the Illustrator’s Guidebook are very well organized for a good flow and provide in-depth tutorials and inspiration to learn to draw even if you have zero art experience.

They are also great for existing artists already drawing for many years that want to up their game or brush up on new design methods. If you are unsure, you can click on the “Look inside” links in the product pages to have a peek into a few pages of each book.

Are the books aimed at digital or traditional art?

The concepts in our books apply to both digital as well as traditional art.

Why can’t I buy your books on Amazon?

We want to support all the contributing artists in our books and the best way to do that is to sell it in our own shop. By supporting 21 Draw you automatically support the art community. If you find our books on Amazon, it is because someone is reselling theirs and nothing else.

Can I read the ebooks on my tablet, smartphone, Kindle?

Most of our fans like to read their ebooks on tablets like the iPad (iBooks), Galaxy Tab, Microsoft Surface etc. and our PDF ebooks are perfectly suited for reading on these devices. They also work very well for reading on your smartphone whether you have an iPhone or Android.

If you are experiencing this issue i.e. you have paid with the higher amount than in checkout, fill out the form here and we will help you get the difference refunded.
